Duties
Sales and Account Administrator serves to learn all aspects of our business and act as a hub between clients and cross-functional teams—including Sales, Design, Engineering, and Production.
This position will be trained in all areas to absorb as much as possible. Must exhibit ‘can-do’ attitude willing to jump-in wherever needed to learn and grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist management with direct customer contact and project development.
- Coordinate internally with design, project management, estimating and production to move projects through development
- Train to prepare and send quotes and complex RFQ’s; Review and confirm PO’s
- Opportunity to contribute on strategy and business-aspects
- Intake new briefs and drive the project from development to completion
- Learn and assist with domestic production, including issuing Vendor RFQ’s, estimating and production.
- Assist in the preparation and represent KNOLL at trade shows. This includes helping administrative tasks, set-up/breakdown, and speaking with new and existing clients to assist in developing business.
- USA Shows: LuxePack NY, LuxePack LA, Cosmoprof Miami, Cosmoprof LV
- Manage annual Knoll Holiday Gift administration, including organizing the recipient list and distribution.
- Assist in coordinating office events, including Knoll Gives Back volunteer day. Opportunity to impact our NY company culture.
- Must be willing to travel, including to Asia for ongoing training, and attend meetings that are necessary to complete the work
Qualifications
- College Degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with Adobe Suite preferred
